Q.

my son is 6.6years old..his nature is sensitive but not too much, also a little scared to cycle, jumping and not 100% confident kid...but a very honest and creative kid i would say but I feel somewhere that is causing him bcs I keep hearing comments from my own family that he is dumb, too scary kid, not confident like other kids, very slow kid in doing things, etc. etc...these comments are literally disturbing me a lot as I am a divorcee and his father characters were also similar but I am trying my best to raise my kid more independent and strong...please help me out with some suggestions..

A. Thanks for the suggestion...yes he started going to Skating at the age of 4.5 and the intention of joining him early is also to get rid of fear and be bold but I saw a lot of difference in a positive side; however that fear while playing is still there but I would say it is improving... apart from that he is also going to chess and abacus class and I hear the same comments from teachers saying he is so honest and he don't respond back harshly if somebody makes fun of him, he just takes it lightly and that's how PPL laugh at him ..he takes it lightly even though there is no mistake from his side...will this impact his future

A. you can motivate him by yourself, and encourage him and play with him . And also can put him in any class for his favorite activity. Motivation and mothers words and presence are always important.
