Q.

my son is 5 years 8 months old ...he got his vaccination done on Thursday ...his arm got swollen and he is having pain in hand movement... what to do

A. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to wgorry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentation locally and paracetamol can be given for ffever or pain. Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

A. Most of the time vaccinations by this age are either given on thighs or to the tips of your child so why the hand is paining that’s not clear and you got vaccination done three days back so I’m just going to recommend you to kindly consult your doctor regarding the situation
