Q.

My son is 5 year 9 month old. his wt is 14 kg and ht is 104 cm. is it normal

A. it is within the normal limits but slightly on the lower side growth of the child that is weight and height along with body development depends upon the diet the child is taking as well as upon the genetic patterns. means- depends on growth of the parents when they were small. so if the parents were thin or having less growth when they were small the child will also follow the same pattern and then gradually have proper growth afterwards. ask your doctor to calculate mid parental height as well as the weight pattern and the situation will be more clear. meet your doctor who will tell you whether the child is within normal limits or not. usually growth charts are plotted to know the growth and proper development.

A. Height is quite fine but of course Oda Vidu is quite less it should be a minimum of 18 to 20 KG currently so we would say that you should certainly look forward to increase the weight gain of the child and also increase the number of protein diet into your diet plan
