my son is 4 months old and his weight is 5 kg he is not gaining weight properly. his birth weight was 3 kg. I heard that in my 5th month scaning i came to know that single umbilical card only. is this the reason that he is not gaining weight properly?

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist3 years agoA. Hello mom their normally single umbilical cord only. So its not related to it. Lot of other factors also has their effects.
Babies normally are expected to gain about 300 gms to 1 kg monthly and by the age of 1 year they almost double their birth weight.
