Q.

My son is 4 months 22 days old and is currently on breast milk and formula. I have noticed that off late his pee has reduced. His night time sleep has become longer and his night feed has reduced. But even during the daytime his pee quantity has reduced. Is it normal?

A. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver. its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in basbies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important. Enzyme prxeparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial. Also colicaid drops can be given.
