my son is 3yrs 3 months old . has high fever . doctor gave antibiotics but fever is not coming down ... 5 ml P250 given but even after 1.5 hours still 102.7 fever is there so I gave meftal-p 5 ml its been again 1 hour and no change in temperature ... tried sponging too ... he os 15 kilos

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again rvepeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can alchso do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
