my son is 3m 1 day with 7.2 kg weight and 63 cm height Dr say he is 1 kg more weight for his age does it is prb ,wat should I go to reduce baby weight I am giving both breast and formula feeding. I am having prediabetes even after taking metformin 500 daily twice does my diabetes cause baby weight gain as I am giving breast feeding also

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is no need to worry regarding the weight and growth of the child at this age and get the child examine regularly with your pediatrician tool out any type of illness

No your diabetes had gone has got no connection with your child’s weight gain but yes if the doctor said that the weight is on the higher side then I would recommend you to start giving more of breastfeeding and reduce under your formula feeding maybe your child is gaining more because of the formula milk that you are giving to the child
