Mom of a 3 yr 1 m old boy1 month ago
Q.

my son is 3 yrs, he weighs 14 kgs he drinks cow milk 2- 3 times throughout the night time. I give him supper around 8pm.. 2 hrs after having dinner he drinks about 250ml of milk before sleeping but he's habituated to wakeup at night and drink again..I have tried a lot to change this habit. Is it ok to drink milk in the middle of night?? plz suggest me to get rid of his habit.

A. Actually this habit is not good because it is going to spoil the teeth as well as in this age it should sleep peacefully through the night so instead of giving milk to the child replacing it with water just give plain water to the child that’s about it initially someday the child will cry will not settle but this will work and slowly the child will learn to sleep throughout the night also and avoid giving daytime nap so that the child gets exhausted and sleeps early in the night
