Q.

My son is 3 years old suffering from chronic constipation he is taking polyethylene glycol peg for his problem as per my pedestrian instruction. When these problem will cure and when to stop this medication.

A. The duration of treatment will depend on the severity of condition. Along with medicines , You may increase the amount of cereal ,vegetables and fruits. And ensure good fluid intake. black raisins is helpful You can soak black raisins in water overnight and bring it to boil. Give this water to him Try broccoli, beans, peaches ,papaya and prunes. They help. Encourage physical activity and play.

Give him a fibre rich diet lots of water include beetroot papaya palak bhindi black kishmish in his daily diet soak some black kishmish say about 25 pcs in water in the night deseed warm in the same water and give it to the baby in the morning Can add a few drops of castor oil in some milk and give in the night
