Q.

my son is 3 month old for him breast milk is not sufficient. After feeding also he is hungry. So what should I do? can I give him porridge. If not then what?

A. No.. try yo feed more often.. and longer from one side.. mother should have healthy diet to have sufficient milk.. still he is hungry.. start with formula milk.. start semi solid food after 6 month only.

A. Hi, firstly check the urine count. If the urine count is 6 to 8 times in a day that means baby is getting enough feed. You need to breast feed once in every two hours for about 20 minutes that is 10 minutes on the left breast and 10 min on the right breast and burp your baby well after every feed. Make sure to maintain a gap of two hours between each feed. If the urine count is less than six times in a day then you can check with your paediatrician for top feed. Do not give anything other than breastfeed and formula feed until baby complete six months. After completion of six month you can give porridge and fruit purée and lukewarm water.Write Your Answer Here
