Q.
My son is 3.8 yr old...he speak few words..he knows lot of words actually ..identify things properly....but does to make sentences to communicate...he remains busy in himself.. we consulted a pediatric neurologist and doc said he has ASD and needs therapy sessions which we will start next week. does ASD goes with therapy...what is the success in these cases...i know my kid will respond to therapy sessions...coz he knows speech only language is delayed..but reqlly worried for his future

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 4 years old now if the ASD is towards mild type then with therapy lots of improvement is seen but many cases children remain aloof and introvert but are intellectual normal
