My son is 20 months old, he is having cough and cold now for more than 25 days, went to pdea but still not well. tries giving him home remedies do, nothing working. what to do ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. you should always consult doctor for proper medicine because it is only after clinical examination that proper treatment would be suggested and weight is important to decide dosage do not selfmedicateif the baby is having cough and cold it is advhyisable to give indirect steam inhalation to the child it is very help you and then get a proper examination done by your doctor to rule out the cause

Consult your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment
Give adequate feeding
Give healthy protein rich nutritious food fruits vegetables
Use saline nasal drops
Give indirect steam inhalation
Wash hands often before touching your baby
