my son is 2 year 4 month he only speak pa pa and oo and we try our best but he is not catching the word

First you need to check is your child really trying trying to follow you that would be the one thing and your child responding to its name making an eye contact making an effort to follow your command of all these things are there then communication is the key otherwise currently with the age that is there I would recommend you to take an advice with a speech therapist also
