Q.

My son is 2 and half year old and he refuses to sleep through the night. Even when he is sleepy, he doesn't want to go to sleep. He is not hungry, uncomfortable or anything, he just don't want to slep. every time we have to force him to go to sleep. Can you help me in knowing on how to make baby sleep through the night.

A. Sleeping pattern in children may be variable in different age group so if the baby is active and taking proper feeding with no other complaints most of the time there is nothing to worry. You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors like temperature of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunger. In older children a proper discipline is required so that the sleeping pattern can be scheduled according to a proper time try to avoid too much of scrheen time with sometimes can be the causative fbactor for disturbed sleep.

A. If you giving any day time sleep to the child I would advise you to completely completely stop giving that and then keep your child thoroughly active through the day get your child make your child tired physically I think that Ritu in to re-helpful
