Q.

my son is 2.2years now, he only able to speak single words yet, he will respond to name, he has good eye contact, he has good social communication, he say bye with waving hand if he go somewhere out, he will point finger to ask something, to show something, he recognize all family members (in photos also ), he follow all commands, imitate immediately others actions, he will answer all questions (about his preschool books or we teach something at home?) he shows all body parts, he love to go out, he will recognize all colours, shapes, fruits, vegetables, animals, solve all puzzles, sometimes he play with shadow is that common?

A. Language milestone delay is common and you need to be patient and encourage him to speak with you and use audio and video of rhymes and use picture books for better understanding of language. . . . . . . ..
