Q.

My son is 18 months old now. When I start potty training to him. And give some tips for potty training.

A. at this age you can start potty training is basically when child is able to sit independenly and is able to tell prior about urination, defecation sensation. holding child on potty, making child to urinate in potty seat is for your convenience, you can start with that. also look for signs such as pausing for a minute, little straining, taking particular position to pass stools or urine. so its easier to start training and to clean up. usually babies urinate after waking up, after feeding. appreciate child, give stickers, stars when child uses potty for encouragement. get help of books cartoons teaching potty training.

A. hello Dr. my baby don't say for potty n urine.. I regularly teach him .. but he don't... what to do.. plz suggest something.

A. hi momma,it's best advised to potty train your son is once he turns two years,as he will be able to communicate better and it would be easy for you to train him. u can use training pants for him during the training process.superbottoms training pants are very good
