Q.
My son is 18 months old and we are teaching him to wave when he was 8 months old hasn't started waving yet.....should I be worried?

See if your child is understanding and responding well to everything else then it is not a problem but if your child is not even responding well or not even understanding the slightest or the most simple thing that you are teaching your child other than waving then in that case it would be a matter of console
