A. It can ve started slowly as baby is habitual to eat mashed foods so gradually reduce the mashibgof foods to little grainy and also introduce finger foods to develop habit of chewing

A. initially you may find it difficult to stop immediately and giving the solid chunks of chapati. so therefore to to gradually transit from this stage to the solid food it is really important to cut the roti in small portions and let it soaked in a milk for a while. this will soften the chapati and it will help your baby to chew properly and solve it without getting choked. do this at least for 3-4 months and once you are pretty sure that your child is good to eat chapati in just simple way then you can stop soaking it in the milk.
