my son is 16 months old.can we use toothbrush for him?he just got 6 teeth

ExpertNiharika PandeyPediatric Dentist3 years agoA. Hi yes you can start brushing your kid's teeth soon after the eruption of first milk teeth. use small head soft bristles toothbrush along with rice grain size amount of kid's toothpaste

Use a clean, damp washcloth, a gauze pad, or a finger brush to gently wipe clean the first teeth and the front of the tongue, after meals and at bedtime. Pediatric dentists prefer you use toothbrushes moistened with water and no more than a rice-grain size smear of fluoride toothpaste.
