Q.

My son is 15months old now. He is born with coronal hypospodias. the doctor suggested surgery at the age of 2. there are 3 problems doctor were pointed out. urinal opening is small, it is curved, and bend. and my doubt is how many days it takes to recover after surgery? is there any problem after surgery? is this a major surgery? Is there anything to be afraid of?

A. hi mostly child can get discharged on same day from hospital after surgery. Bandage will be removed after 2-3 days and the stent will be removed in office 5-14 days after surgery. swelling and brusies Can be there for 2-3 weeks the total healing Time can be of one year too, depends on Child's health condition so please take necessary follow ups from your treating doctor and strictly follow his or her advice
