Q.

my son is 15 month old. doctor has given iron drops. she has asked me to give iron rich food. Please suggest some iron rich food.

A. Pulses, such as baked beans, kidney beans, wheat, chickpeas, garbanzo beans, lentils, and peas are extremely good for your baby as they are rich in iron. Offer fruits like pomegranate, apple, raspberry, strawberry, kiwi, banana. Veggies like moringa leaves, Broccoli, Beet root, lufa, and Spinach is another iron-loaded vegetable. Nuts Dried apricots, figs, raisins and prunes. Are also good source of iron.
