My son is 13months old he’s having cough badly how to cure it Giving cough syrup still not reduced he’s crying badly as coughing hurts his throat

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or bothy. along with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if the cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication .y it is very important to give proper inhaler as well as proper method of nebulization for better recovery

Then there could be a possibility that your child is having throat infection please consult your doctor they’ll be able to confirm the issue currently I would recommend you to give some water like warm water with turmeric into that and also continuously 3 to 4 times give ginger juice and honey mixture to your child
