my son is 12 yrs old. he is suffering from nakshir (blood comes from nose) frequently. plz help

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. bleeding from the nasal cavity also known as epistexis. during the initial bleeding episode you will have to press up on the bleeding area to stcop the bleeding. you can press some cold ice or cold cloth also to decrease the bleeding after bleeding stops you have to make use of nasal saline cdrops to keep the nasal cavity moist and also apply antibacterial cream (tbact) over the bleeding area for faster healing

Hi It is mostly due to some kind of an issue into the nose of the child so you may as well get a check with an ENT doctor to have better clarity because that is the age that is how you’ll come to know the reason according to that the treatment can also be suggested
