A. My son had his 1st tooth at 9m and 2nd one at 10m. He did bite me many times but i did nothing to the wound, it healed itself. But my doctor suggested "Nipcare" ointment after feeding to me for the wound.

A. apply nipcare ointment after feeding your baby... plz do clean the nipple before the next feed... or else you can apply last drop of milk from ur nipple... it also works better

A. Apply milk cream on the bite. It will work on the bites and safe for baby too. And to protect yourself from bites, next time when you feed, be prepared mentally that baby can bite anytime. And the moment you feel the baby bite, just tickle the baby so they will release the nipple. Or every time you feed, just keep saying something to the baby as in say some story or song just say what happened in your day. Babies usually love attention so when we talk to them, they do listen to us and get involved and thus their focus would be diverted from biting.

A. babies bite while breastfeeding for several reasons -poor latch/ attachment -too much milk flow -low milk supply -a cold or stuffy nose -being full -distraction or boredom -teething you can calmly say something such as “no biting” as you remove your breast don’t pull your baby off too quickly. removing a baby that is still firmly latched can cause more injury to your nipple. to ease the pain and protect your nipples, you can try: -nipple cream, such as purified lanolin -cold packs -nursing on the unbitten side first — breastfeeding tends to be most vigorous at the beginning of a nursing session -pain relievers that are safe for breastfeeding, such as paracetamol and ibuprofen can be taken -using a pump to maintain your milk supply as you heal biting is usually a temporary problem and babies quickly learn to stop.e a lactation consultant can help you find strategies to continue breastfeeding for as long as you and your baby wish. s
