my son is 10 month old and his 1st teeth are erupting... He is down with fever 99.9 to 100.1 .... Before that he had running nose..... worried about his fever as it comes and goes after I give him paracetamol....

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist3 years agoA. do not self medicate your child and visit a pediatrician and get proper treatment done this fever is not because of teething your child is suffering from cold do not ignore

Very normal for a child to have fever at this stage and if the fever keeps fluctuating like this only so apart from the medicines that you are giving if you start doing cold sponging that is also going to help in retaining and maintaining the temperature to a certain level
