#AskTheExpert My son is 1 year and 6months. he has got molluscum contagious and is been treated under a skin specialist. the Doctor has given KOH 10% SOLUTION and has asked to apply on the boils. anything elese can i do for it to treat soon as well as for the marks to go. he gets cold and cough frequently what can i do.

Hello Ma'am my 2 years old baby facing the same issue please help me to know how you treated your baby's molluscum also how much time it took I am so much worried. His molluscum spreading all over his body as he used to touch them. please dp reply and help

Dr Rashmi SriramGuardian of a 9 yr 6 m old girl7 years agoA. Hi, molluscum can be removed by electrocautery or cryotherapy. But these are painful and avoided in children. Be careful while applying kph . Protect surrounding with Vaseline and apply KOH with tooth pick.
