Q.

my son is 1 month old and he is not latching properly,so I am concern about the milk he consumes, what is the standard quantity of milk one month old baby consumes ina day.

A. Hello mom almost 50 to 75 ml per feed about 6 to 8 times a day . And monthly weight gain is expected to be almost 300 Gm to 1 kg and. By the age of 4 to 6 months they would almost double their birth weight

A. you cant quantify milk taken by baby by breastfeeding..you just monitor weight gain weekly. baby will double the weight by 5 to 6 months. look for active, alertness, calmness..look for urine frequancy it should be more than 6 to 7 times a 24 hour.take care.if any confusion talk to paediatritian

A. hi parent child can take 30ml milk per hour please always feed your child in tilted position and keep in up ward position after every feed please give daily massage with Babyhug coconut oil
