Q.

my son having fever cough and cold since Friday evening maximum temperature 102 doctor given him Crocin and mefenamic acid if we give him this syrup temperature become normal for next 7 to 10 hours once again fever coming please suggest

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is girven. along with that cough expectorant and decfongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
