My son having fever 101 can i give cold compress with ice water or normal water

Author of questionMom of a 7 yr 10 m old boy5 years agoA. Doctor, fever is reducing while taking paracetamol (every 6hr), gradually increases after 3 hours. How to maintain the temperature till the next dosage.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy5 years agoA. yes there should not be any problem but it would be advisable to go for normal water than for chilled water because the child will then feel chills. also you can give paracetamol according to the weight which can be given maximum 4 times per day
