my son have the habit of sucking his thumb while he is sleepy....he removes his thumb from the month once he is slept....will there be any problem? is there any way to stop him from this habit....I tried 2-3 ways bt neither worked.

A. will there be any dental problem for him? he puts his thumb into the mouth only while sleepy

A. if the child is two years and eight months old is having a habit of thumb sucking just make the child divert in some other activity while sucking the thumb and you can apply femite lotion over the thumb
