Q.
My son has viral fever and we visited doctor yesterday. As per the prescription we have given medicine. Doctor said nothing to worry. From today he is vomiting whatever he eats and not eating anything after that. Please suggest. He looks tired and weak.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. after vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food.
do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period.
if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor.
avoid giving milk and heavy diet.
vomit usually occurs due to gastritis
