Q.

My son has running nose since 23 days, given doctor recommended medicines but still cold is there. please suggest what to do

A. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child. For cold / running nose give syp allegra 5 ml twice daily to the child. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold) Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block. For wet coughing you can give syrup ascoril LS 5ml twice daily to the child Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing For fever and pain give paracetamol Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.t Give warm water to drink.

A. hello you can put saline drop and you can also use instant rub from babyhug which is effective and in regards so other medicine it would be better to check with your doctor and she can guide your accordingly and nothing to worry
