Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is important to keep the child for observation for at least 48 hours and if the child develops danger signs like
severe headache or
excessive crying or
excessive vomiting or
abnormal movements or
lethargy or
seizures then kindly meet your doctor immediately for examination.
d
if none of above danger signs are present then you can follow wait and watch policy
d
for pain you can give paracetamol which will help in also decreasing swelling on the head.
also apply ice locally.
RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. Little bit of swelling can be seen so you can keep a cold pack so the swelling settles down and since your child seems like got hit hard it would be good if you get it checked so at least they’ll be no doubt of any internal injury or something it’s always good to be clear about the kids
