Q.

my son has fever 100 degree my paediatric suggest to give 4 ml every 6 hours plz suggest me if i can give 2 ml every 3 hours

A. Dear no can't give it like that kindly follow prescription. as a medical student I suggest you that please follow doctor's instructions.

A. For FEVER as well as PAIN kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. Also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only cofnsider it as fever and give Paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be fgiven only after medical consultation. After giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere

A. hi dear So, call your baby's doctor or nurse line if their temperature is 100.4 degrees or higher. If your baby is less than two months old, the doctor will want to see baby as soon as possible. Also, anytime your baby is acting ill – whether a fever is present or not – call in.
