Q.
My son had vomitings and motions last week. Vomitings are there for 2days and motions got stopped 3 days back. Now he is active and started taking solid diet. But he is complaining stomach pain before passing motion and his stools are white in colour(pearl white) and smelly. Can some one pls say what might be the reason for smelly white stools.

Author of questionMom of 2 children3 years agoA. No fever, now even loose motions and vomiting both got stopped. He is passing Norma stools now but with smell and colour is white. and complaining stomach pain before passing stools

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomitineg and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management ffor dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
