Q.

my son had severe cough blocked nose.visited paed n he prescribed antibiotic(amoxilin+potassium clauvanate),nasal drops n ventiphylline-pd. even after 5 days he had cough n got fever after 2days of giving medicines.so on follow up Dr asked for blood tests n xray. chest ws clear. n blood report s attached. Dr again prescribed same medicines for 5 more days.

A. Complete the course of medicine and follow up with your doctor and steam inhalation twice a day and give warm liquids to the child like soups and keep chest warm take care

A. but this is the second consecutive course..considering his age..is it OK?his nose is always block ,drops are not helping much..

A. hello actually in case of cold even antibiotics are usually prescribed for a minimum of 5 to 7 days itself so you have to follow as per your doctor's advice so please continue the medication as per your doctor's advice
