my son had fever on 30th April.. we went to doctor and he prescribed ibuzit and further prescribed antibiotic if fever persist for the next two days.. but fever reduced n he wasn't given antibiotics n he was well from 3rd day.. now he is on fever again since yesterday.. should he be given antibiotics

Madam first you need to understand why that antibiotic was given because it’s mostly given in case of infection don’t give it from your side if there is fever continuously then give fever medicine if the fever doesn’t subside within 72 hours then you can check with the doctor and start with antibiotic
