Q.
my son got fever......and consulted doctor. ...he gave one antibiotic suspension .....is it enough??he suggested to give mefthol syrup if fever is more than 102 degree....

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. pls trust the doctor. It is not possible to comment upon what is the issue so best would be to consult a doctor nearby and if needed some test might be required and then any treatment or management can be advised about this .

Yes One antibiotic is good enough if the fever is on the higher side then you can start doing thande Paani ki patti on the forehead and behind the knees that is definitely going to help in reducing down the temperature in a faster level than the medicine as well
