Q.
My son didnt poop from yesterday. He is struggling to poop but unable to.. We gave him Duphalac 5 ml today afternoon. Stil he dint poop Kindly suggest medication

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. constipation is common problem in children in which diet modification is important like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables w'wuill also help , can give daliya or oatsmeal also .give more liquids.
giving excess of milk may cause constipation too.also avoid banana which may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help,give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed.
