Q.

My son Adriel Marak is 5 year 7 month old. He is suffering from cold and cough for last 5 months. Local doctor advice as to take asthaline syrup and anti biotic medicine. But it doesn't working .. what to do? Please suggest us..

A. on sw. Babe cold can be because of viral infections sometimes frequent cold can be due to allergies you had to treat symptomatically with steam inhalation if there is need for anti-histamics

A. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or bothd. along with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if the cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medixcation . it is very important to give proper inhaler as well as proper method of nebulization for better recovery
