my son 4 years old boy have wet cough can i give chericof LS along with montair LC

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic agynd expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if rfever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

please don't give Medicines by own
instead of it ,you may try some homemade remedies like:
apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child.
give mixture of honey and ginger in one tsp quantity twice in a day.
