Q.

My son 2yr10mnth old, opened his mouth during sleeping and have sound also, what is the reason? Is it becose of adinoid?

A. it is very common that due to allergy as well as recurrent cough and cold adenoid hypertrophy is common in children which will lead to such type of nasal blockage but does not require any treatment because by 7 years to 9 years of age they will again become small

A. Grunting during sleep can indicate dreaming or a bowel movement. Gastroesophageal reflux (GER). Also known as acid reflux, this occurs when stomach contents rise into the food pipe. It can cause discomfort, and the baby may grunt.
