My son 12 month old. there is starting slight black spot on his upper teeth and between upper teeth space is more, why?

Two things can happen either you are giving an iron supplement to the child which is why it is turning a little black because of the supplement that you are giving a second you are not maintaining proper oral hygiene by brushing twice in a day with a proper toothpaste and toothbrush morning and night
