But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out .
Antitpyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold spognging with lukewarm water is also helpful .
Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

Get your baby personally examined by your doctor and seek further advice. Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Good luck and take care.
