Q.

My so is 21 months old, he is not able to say a single word.few days before he was trying to say few words of any name like (daddy -daa) but again he stop saying those words also he is just pointing fingers whatever he wants.we told this to out doctor he suggested us to give 'COS3' 5ml once in a day.(doc said it may be speech delay). Is it ok to give cos3 to him ?isn't it too early (he's not 2y old ).

A. If your doctor is advising you then it is not a problem otherwise also I would advise you to try and communicate more and more with your child do not give any kind of screen time to the child specially mobile phone and get some educational books and toys like you know you can go ahead with flash cards board books and another toys which are education based in colour ways you can play with that so this is how the speech is going to be better you can wait till 2 1/2 years yet if you do not see any improvement and connect with a speech therapist
