my sister has fifteen days old new born baby boy has caught cold getting noises while breathing what can I do for cold go away or should we apply baby Vicks on the baby feet

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cgold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having grecurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
