Q.

My Shree is 4 years now..I live in joint maharatrian family where he has his two elder cousins sisters ...his sister are not playing with him bcoz Shree is more active and all time they are make him cry ...some time I m not allow Shree to play with them...but my Shree is too small to understand behaviour of his sister...even though my Shree never done anything his sister are cry a lot loudly so that their mother is that Shree badi mammy looks angry on him...bcoz of that I shout on Shree sometime I raise my hand also on him...I felt so bad n guilty...n when I beat him his sister become happy...I m so mch frustrated of that it happens all the day n everyday...bcoz of that Shree has dark circles under eye...pls help me how to get rid of this situation

A. hi it is common scenario of joint family. as you are living in joint family , you can not stop your child to play with them . but please don't hit your child. just try to have talk with elder kids (girls ) politely ask them as they are elder they will look after their younger brother. it will help to make them responsible. and as a reward give stickers of star smiles etc whenever they behave responsible ,they take care or behave politely with your child. spend quality time with your child also ,it will help to make strong bond between you and your child. stay calm consistent and positive.
