Q.

My question is with regards to breastfeeding. My son is 16 months old. He breastfeeds one time in the day and every 2 hours once in the night. When he was less than a year old, I feed him every two hours once in the day and night. I feel like he has got used the pattern of getting fed every two hours once in the night. How to help my baby, sleep through the night or reduce breastfeeding.

A. See If you genuinely want to change this habit then you’ll have to quit breastfeeding for the child it would be important for you to give formula milk or any other milk to the child during the night time because it’s going to be heavier than your breast feeding and add this is the appetite of a child is much higher than it previously was so formula milk or buffalo’s milk will keep the stomach full for a longer time
