Q.

my pediatrician suggest zerolac milk powder for my 9 and hlf months old baby.. i was using similac advance and its pretty gud and he accepted well but other ped.suggested zerolac. hows it ??

A. You can continue the one which you are already giving to the child. As the baby is nine months old introduce solid foods to the baby. After six months, you can start giving semi solid foods to the baby, to start with give thick dal soup, mashed banana, suji kheer, later introduce mashed sweet potato, seasonal fruit purees, rice porridge, khichdi, yogurt. Initially give everything in small quantity and check response of the baby and gradually increase the quantity of the food. After nine months you can start solid foods like chapati mashed in dal, sift cooked rice, finger foods.

A. Hello and good evening, frankly I have not heard this name before but there are many brands available these days if the pediatrician is well known then it is better to go by the doctors advise
