Q.

My paediatrician has prescribed Hemfer 225 ml. Daily dosage of 5 ml but accidentally I gave 7-8 ml . She caught fever at night. I am not sure if this is due to extra dosage. Can you please suggest what should I do? My daughter is 1 year 11 months old.

A. Medicines do not give temperature to the child or give fever to the child so I think probably it is due to viral as of now you should give paracetamol to the child and do cold sponging that’s going to break the temperature and consult your paediatrician tomorrow one time
